The Island of Long-lined Palm Beaches & Exotic Fauna.

The island of  Koh Mak, a treasure of Phang Nga Bay boasts an unspoilt, rustic charm, still untouched by commercial development seen elsewhere around Thailand.

With a population of around 1000, it's inhabited by a muslim community. Locals earn a living through the farming of Rubber plantations, coconut, fishing and traditional boat making. The island is looked after by local government of Phang Nga province.

Phang Nga Bay offers unbeaten stunning scenery with the limestone karst rock formations that jut out from the cystal clear emerald green water. Nestled within the bay are more  than 100 island in the area to explore, kayak around or snorkle the waters and discover ocean life. The limstone cliffs offer a range of bio diversity and makes a picturesque backdrop for avid photographers.

The location of the bay is well protected from both the southern and northern monsoon seasons, which allows for calm waters that remain clear and peacfull
